UK Hip Hop Review – Mr ShaoDow ft Ghetts ‘Get Stronger’

As all you devoted Black Budgeters will know, undergound UK mc Mr ShaoDow was the first ever UK mc to bless the Black Budget camera with a Spotlight Prestyle video where he performed his part in the track ‘Get Stronger’ ft UK house hold name, Ghetts.

Since then Mr ShaoDow and Ghetts have finalised their single ‘Get Stronger’ and it is due for release on the 3rd of June 2011 with an official, fully animated video due on the 4th June 2011, premiering through the UK’s number one urban broadcaster SBTV.

Thanks to Mr ShaoDow we have a copy of the full single which consists of; Get Stronger (original), Get Stronger (AK Remix) and Stay Away.

All three tracks on the single go together well, the headline track ‘Get Stronger ft Ghetts’ has a real, aggressive, M.O.P feel to it and I personally feel that ShaoDow by far out shines Ghetts on this track. His flow, voice and delivery are all much more suited to the overall feel of the track.

As for the AK remix, I normally really dislike dubstep BUT the beat on this goes like a Ferrai F50, honstly, in my oppinion, the remix should be the single as I could imagine this taking over the dance floor at a rave and sending the crowd into a frenzy!

Stay Away, again is a decent track and I think that Ghetts brings a much stronger verse on it. The beat has a harsh electric feel to it and again this is a track would have everyone skanking out in a rave.

Overall I would say that Mr ShaoDows Get Stronger single is definatley worth buying for the AK remix of Get Stronger if nothing else!
