UK Editorial: The Weekly Round Up #2 – 05/09/2011 – 12/09/2011

This week the UK hip hop scene has been overly busy with us at Black Budget Ent creating over 80 posts. The week started with an official music video from UK emcee Proverbz and ended with a ‘Spotlight Prestyle’ from fellow emcee Silqe.

Since the start of the week on 05/9/2011 we have seen five new releases available for free download from our ‘Mixtapes’ section. The releases include Yosh’s ‘The Poisoning‘, Raphael Attar ‘Cool But Rude‘, Swift ‘Pre Flight Entertainment‘, Dead Man Walkn ‘The Alpha Omega EP‘ & AC ‘Prophecy For Profit‘. We have also seen a couple high profile releases this week with Pound Sterling dropping his ‘English Gangster‘ mixtape and USG linking up with French rapper Cid Youssef to release their joint venture ‘The Euro Link Up‘.

This week has been completely flooded with new UK hip hop music videos, as we stated at the beginning of this ‘Round Up‘ the week started with the official music video to Proverbz’s ‘Community Takeback‘. The week also saw official music videos from the likes of Krept & Konan – Otis Remix, Lowkey & Logic – Relatives, Rattlin – My Lifes Not Easy & Thin Line and Benny Banks – Show Me The Way. The week also saw an untold amount of music videos from underground UK hip hop artists which can be found here.

We have also seen a load of material from UK broadcasters up and down the country. Rap City posted up 9 new videos including Menace of USG’s latest music video ‘Twinkle In My Eye‘, check them out here. Chiba Flicks were also hard on their grind pumping out no less than 6 videos, one of which included a cypher involving UK emcee Dru Blu which can be watched here. The week has also seen new releases from the like of New Sound Era, SBTV, UK Overstood, Link Up TV and others.
